September 8, 1937

First 20 miles of line energized to serve 40 families

December 31, 1938

199 homes and 233 public buildings and businesses were receiving service

1940

First Reynolds office constructed

January 30, 1941

Changed name to Flint EMC

First Warner Robins office opened

New Reynolds headquarters office built

Began answering phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

First Perry office opened

New Warner Robins office and warehouse built

SCADA used for the first time

Introduced load management program

Began Fort Benning operations
Offered green power for the first time
Provided 24 hour automated outage reporting to members

New Perry office opened on Perry Parkway
Added Fort Benning office and warehouse

Operation RoundUp program began

Awarded our one-millionth dollar through Operation RoundUp
Started the first-ever Line Technician Co-op Scholarship Program
Became the first electric co-op to operate our entire service fleet on biodiesel and ethanol fuel blends
Re-introduced load management program

First Spirit of Flint award presented
First Bright Ideas grants awarded

2007

Started the first-ever System Operations Co-op Scholarship Program
